The Indigenous Infrastructure and Sustainable Housing Alliance (TIISHA) was commissioned by the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council (NSWALC) on behalf of the New South Wales Coalition of Aboriginal Peak Organisations (NSW CAPO)to respond to commitments made under the NSW Closing the Gap Implementation Plan 2022-24 to develop culturally responsive design principles for Aboriginal housing in NSW. 

The project is under development; it will be delivered in partnership with five Local Aboriginal Land Councils (LALCs) and their communities, who have been selected from across diverse regions in NSW,
